The Future of Finance: Navigating Towards a Just and Green Transition

Join the LSE Alumni Association of Singapore for a timely and stimulating discussion on the green transition with Dr Simon Dikau, Distinguished Policy Fellow at the LSE’s Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, moderated by Lutfey Siddiqi, Visiting Professor-in-Practice at LSE IDEAS.

Simon will touch on evolving global views post-COP28 on the green transition, particularly regarding extraction of necessary raw materials; Singapore and Southeast Asia’s role in the dialogue on a green and socially inclusive transition; and how financial instruments can better take into account market needs and risks for a socially just, rapid and orderly transition.

The talk will be followed by an open Q&A and networking with LSE staff and other LSE alumni working in the sustainability and financial services fields.

Ticket fees include some light bites at our venue, Mortar and Pestle.
